“Dance with my demons” by Blame My Youth

Once again Blame My Youth is here and he delivers just like last time, this time around with the rebellious and honest sonic escape that is “Dance with my demons”. With this refreshing and in your face blend of melodies and lyrics that invites the listeners into a world where the good and the bad come together and it becomes one hell of a party. The track is an honest exploration of the self that understands that nobody is all good and nobody is all bad but a balance is always nice to have to prevent everything from going down the drain. He dances and has funs with the voices inside his head as they invite mischief but instead he gives them a drink and invites to have some fun as he sings his heart out. The track is such a thrill and so fun to hear that your senses and imagination are sure to be grateful for the chance to experience something so refreshing and exciting. So listen closely and dive into this unknown soundscape because you are sure to find the chance to be free and be you within it. Enjoy!

“‘Dance With My Demons’ is a pub/barn burner for the pint raisers who choose to cheers their vices and reckless behaviors for a night, and shove their shames off into the future. This song celebrates a mindset where the bright side and dark side meet, and the party starts. The day I met my now extremely good friend and frequent collaborator Greg Holden, we were equally crashed out at the bottom of recent life highs. He had some heavy personal struggles as did I. We shared a guilty conscience we had about giving into vices and letting bad habits and thoughts get the best of us. Both of us grapple with loving and hating our demons. So we wrote this song where we allowed ourselves to be good with them for little while, accept them, maybe even warmly embrace them.”Sean Van Vleet AKA Blame My Youth
