Grey Goon joins forces with one of the best voices in the indie scene, Lauren Ruth Ward, and together they give us a bittersweet and everlasting tale. “I don’t believe in the sun” is a masterfully crafted musical masterpiece for the modern age and surely has all the right ingredients to be a classic. The track showcases the battle between the world inside of us and the world that surrounds our existence in a way that is poetic and beautifully dramatic. There’s something about the lyrics that is surreal yet firmly cemented in the ground of what is palpable and in front of us. I have fallen hypnotized to the mesmerizing union of talents, melodies, lyrics, and magic that make up this one of a kind soundscape. Enjoy!
