“Jericho” by JOYYA

Indie pop duo JOYYA come from the UK and they bring that sweet and marvelous pop that seems to flow with ease and magic from their lands. They deliver the beautifully titled “Jericho” and I am thrilled to share this masterpiece and to enjoy it as I write this. The track has all the makings of a hit and personally it should be so immediately for the good of music, the good of pop and the good of your ears. The pair allow melodies that remind us the first album of The 1975 to flow with ease while embracing their own uniqueness and their stories to be told. The track is built on verses that actually speak and relate to the listener as the soundscape transcends the limits of your speakers and surrounds you. Honestly a personal favorite and one to be in awe off. Listen and enjoy!

“To the morning
A taste on my tongue
I know I could be dreaming
I’m young and my mouth is on fire”
