Danish indie singer/songwriter Haenrik delivers a masterful and haunting blend of melodies and lyrics with his track “If this ain’t love”. The talented artist paints a picture for us to see clearly as the story of a love that never really got there but served the fantasy of it unfolds. It lets the listener into a world that may seem familiar for some or unexplored territory for others, but human nonetheless. It is a bittersweet tragedy that seemed like a love story in the eyes of the voice behind the verses, but in the a fantasy will not be the real deal. It is hypnotizing outcome as we know each word leads to a doomed, but still we keep on staring because the lie can at times feel so sweet and hurt as much as the real deal when the finale arrives.
