“Haunting” (Reimagined) by Sulene

South African born/New York based singer/songwriter Sulene delivers a haunting, honest and bittersweet creation with her reimagined take on her own track “Haunting”.  The talented multi-talented artist continues to show the world that her talent does not only lie in a guitar and other instruments (She is the lead guitarist for Nate Ruess and plays guitar/keys/bass for Milck, Wrabel, and LPX). She is an accomplished songwriter and the owner of a magnificent voice that caresses your very soul when heard. Her latest track comes from her reimagined version of the Strange EP, in this take she delivers a softer more personal sound that is truly refreshing. She keeps the magic of the lyrics flowing and in this softer sound the song excelled and really delivered the story of a love long gone but still haunting your days and nights. She understands that sometimes a past lover can remain and be there in your dreams, the smell of your sheets, the shadows that creep in the corner of your room and even though you’ve moved on they still wish to haunt you. So listen, connect and know that there’s someone out there who understands that sometimes memories and moments passed are stronger that we would like to admit. Enjoy!

“Say you want me
Say you want me there
I’ll be the best mistake
Trace my figure
Like I’m just a dream
That took your heart away
Is it crazy that you’re in my head
I’ll see you tonight when I go to bed”
