-What inspired “Well, Hell”?

Lyrically it’s a cathartic release. I remember The day Eduardo and I wrote the track we wanted to write something upbeat. Nothing specifically inspired me, I had the underlining theme rolling around in my head. The verses and chorus came out very fluidly. Very is stream of consciousness. I wrote the lyrics in about an hour

-How would you describe this year so far?

This year was a lot of give and take. I was able to reap the fruits of my labor and also sow some seeds, experiencing many things for the first time

-The album, yes, nay, please?

The album is unfortunately not out yet. However, for the betterment of the project it has been postponed and will be out in February – that will feel incredible.

-How would you describe the songwriting process between you and Eduardo?

Ed and I are always compiling melodies and one-liners on our own. When we get together to write, sometimes he will play something on the guitar and it will bring out a story in me. Other times I have an exact or rough idea what I wanna say. I’ll explain whatever’s in my mind Eduardo and he will write guitar to my story.

-So far, describe the craziest live show experience?

There has been a couple crazy live show experience for me. Eduardo and I played three sold out shows to about 4k people in Italy opening up for LP in April. Later that week, I played solo, same scenario, in Paris. A good amount of fans knew the words to our songs which literally took my breath away. The four of us also got to open up for LP this past summer at the Bowery ballroom in New York and the El Rey Theatre in LA. I remember being pretty nervous and just looking at them during the performance to shake my nerves.

-Do you guys have a ritual or a special something that must always be done before a show? If you do what is it if you don’t mind sharing?

I paint white dots on our eyes, write set lists, snack, have a drink, hang out, I do vocal warm ups for about 15 mins/vocal rest. Just relax and prepare.

-Special mantra or philosophy in music and life?

Be Yourself

-Best place to get inspired to write some music?

I will feel inspired/ be able to write just about anywhere. I don’t feel super comfortable in a huge group of people. so I guess when I’m more alone/ with Eduardo, but in any environment.

-Where can we get the precious treasures that are albums, vinyls and more?

Selling our CDs and vinyl exclusively at shows at the moment (digital distribution in February.) Our next show is with Nicole Atkins at the bootleg on December 7

-The year is quickly coming to an end, what can we expect from you in the last few months?

We have five shows with Nicole Atkins and Ed and I will be writing/ rehearsing/recording with Liv and India some new song. We are releasing and announcing a lot of cool stuff in January and February.
