Charming Liars
Indie alternative rock band Charming liars deliver something beyond amazing and mesmerizing with their music video for “Insomnia”. The video is masterfully directed by Phillip Lopez and stars Amanda Booth as the muse for this raw, honest and gritty showcase of music, lyrics and visuals. There’s something special here as the guys embrace truths and experiences few seldom want to share, they take them and serve them up for us to connect. They take violence, substance abuse and sex in a way that does not glamourize all of it, but shows it under a light in which we can clearly see a statement and create our own interpretation. This fantastic showcase of talent is the first installment of a three part short film and honestly I am hooked and can’t wait to see the two installments that remain.
