“Hallelujah” by Uhre

The talented indie artist Uhre from Denmark gives her own spin to a track in which she originally was featured with her vocals. She took many things from her surroundings and turned them into instruments, even plastic bags. Through this unusual exploration she gave “Hallelujah” a certain personal and subtle vibe that delivers a warmth that is much welcomed and needed. It also added a certain soft jazzy layer to the melody that made it soothing and hypnotizing at the same time. She surely is one of those rare beings capable of creating something out of nothing, in this case she took a track and gave it an “alternative” touch that gives the lyrics a different outlook from the original. It’s beautiful how an arrangement can change the experience of a listener, even when hearing the same lyrics – it blows me away. Enjoy!
