First of all I have to admit that I am a sucker for a music video that focuses on showcasing the artists and use lights, smokes and camera work to create a visual and melodic experience. The music video for “Wrecking trains” by Mind Cinema certainly fits the previous sentence and it is pretty clear that not only that but they deliver an amazing indie pop track for today. This band from Monterrey, NL in Mexico have it all to hit the spot and who knows maybe just maybe be what The XX is to the UK (I certainly feel it). Right across the border from us there’s a trio of individuals who united and together created verses and melodies that find a way to touch us and connect with our world. Their soundscape embraces relationships coming together, falling apart and crashing and burning into nothingness and that is always a must to hear. Enjoy!
