“Alone” by Lolahiko
Los Angeles, California based indie pop duo Lolahiko once again connects with feelings, emotions and sensations that we all have felt in our lives in one point or another. “Alone” explores how even though we might live in a city filled with thousands and thousands of people we can end up feeling the loneliest searching for something or someone. It’s a beautiful and bittersweet track that touches a subject that few speak of but it is so true, life is not about the quantity that surrounds us but the quality that you let in. It’s also an honest cry that echoes the voices of many looking around themselves and finding no one looking back. Loneliness hits us all, no matter who you are or where you are. So take a listen at what Lauren Marie and Ike Kawaguchi have created in a soundscape that is honestly magical and utterly mesmerizing and no that you are not alone. Enjoy!
“…Why are we so alone in this city that’s so overgrown?
What once was elevating now seems suffocating…”
