“Long Ago” by Miles Hardt

Los Angeles native Miles Hardt shows the music world how it’s done with a debut for the ages. This talented singer/songwriter has a certain charm about him and the way he sings that you’ll immediately feel invested with the soundscape of “Long Ago”. In a minute you’ll see yourself in his shoes looking back at someone with whom you thought a lifetime would not be enough but sadly or by luck life had other plans. We see the story as it is, a love that was planned for more but plans are meant to be broken and as you look back you notice it wasn’t long ago that the first thing you saw was that smile and those eyes looking back at you. But life’s like that and he understand and we could not have expressed it better than him. A gentle bittersweet reminder of a love story that ended before we wanted it, but there’s more life ahead and another love story horizon. Who knows maybe that one does have a happy ending.

So let go of your rules, listen to the marvelous voice of a singer who’ll make you believe in music once again. Listen to the talent that dwells inside Miles and make sure to keep track of him for ladies and gentlemen he is going places. Oh he definitely is, with a voice like that, a voice that mesmerizes and hypnotizes as it creates indie pop melodies that fill up your senses.

[su_quote cite=”Miles Hardt”]Long Ago is a song I had been writing for years. I would sing to my (then) girlfriend, ‘If I wake up, and this is just a dream, I will close my eyes and go back to sleep.’ After a few months of us being apart and not being able to speak, I had finished the rest of the song and left a message in the bridge that I knew only she would understand. I wanted the song to truly be a reminder that it wasn’t that long ago we were in moments like that, and that I wasn’t giving up just yet.[/su_quote]
