“Say my name” by Tove Styrke

With a beauty that is hypnotizing there’s no denying that Tove Styrke is as close to perfection as you can get when she allows her voice to deliver notes that simply hit the right spot in every second. After a pause that felt eternal she finally allows us to hear another example of her surreal talent with her latest single “Say my name”. And with a control of her voice in the way it flows in a unison manner with the melodies  she is able to transition in perfect synchronicity with it throughout the whole track with no weak moments at all. Plus the track is simply inviting and it has a way of capturing you when you least expected as you find yourself tapping your feet to the rhythm of it. If you have not memorized her name already, you definitely will and it will be all that your vocabulary will need for a few days. So enjoy the song, let go of the rules, relax and simply say her name because that’s all you can do as the soundscape takes you in and embarks you on a trip through the airwaves. 2017 is getting better and better and Tove Styrke is set to take it by storm and make it hers, because it is not a man’s world as we all think… it’s Tove’s world and I am perfectly fine with that.

[su_quote cite=”Tove Styrke”]There’s a reason why so much music is about sex and love. It is linked to one’s worst and best experiences. I have not written about love before because I didn’t want to write another love song. But I have changed. I am tired of being angry, right now I just need to make music that makes me feel good.[/su_quote]

[su_quote cite=”Tove Styrke”]The stronger I sing, the less I can affect the song. The more quiet I sing, the greater the differences will be in the tone and texture. A lot of people are afraid to talk loudly, but there is a strength to talking quietly – thus people really have to listen to you. There’s no need to try to be a man in a man’s world.[/su_quote]
