“Get High (No, I don’t) by Maximo Park

Maximo Park (Maxïmo Park for the purists) are on fire and 2017 is set to be another marvelous year for the indie royalty members. With an upcoming new album (which was just pre-ordered by me for me) they allow another music video to shine through and showcase another track that will be part of the repertoire of that upcoming beauty. “Get High (No, I don’t)” shows the world that Paul Smith is as electric as ever and the band continues to have a unique connection with music, passion and lyricism that has allowed them to continue on with a career that has been going for more than a decade already and let’s be honest, it will continue on more than that. With an anti-establishment spirit they allow carefully choreographed movements to show off the magic that lies in the verses and the reasoning behind them as the symbolism goes beyond the words into the movements seen. Enjoy the latest masterpiece by one of the bands that made me fall in love with the indie scene from the UK, enjoy Maximo Park (Maxïmo Park for the purists).
