“Something Good” by Dan the Man
Daniel Haggis is a talented drummer and multi-instrumentalist whose not only known as a member of the Liverpool indie band The Wombats but also by his solo project where he is simply called Dan the Man. And let’s be honest he is the man, not only is he a member of such a great band but also he has created amazing music on his own, through this expressions of music he showcases the extent of his unique talent beautifully. With his latest single “Something Good” he speaks to us in a relatable manner, for we have all been in moments where all we need are good news, even if they are lies, we need them to have a smile that could change our days, our weeks, our life. He connects with that basic necessity that we experienced daily as children, for as a kid everything is new and filled with goodness (something lost in adulthood). He understands the human nature and our need of something positive that could change our perspective and turn as they say a frown upside down.
Dan the Man is an artist signed with one of my favorite Labels: Bright Antenna Records (home of The Wombats, Mona and many more talented musicians)
“Something Good” is part of the upcoming second album ‘Circadian Circus’ – to be released February 24, 2017
