“Dias Igual” by Clave 57
Indie rock from south of the border, from one of the hubs for good rock music in Spanish – Monterrey, Mexico. This talented band of “regios” has been playing together for more than 10 years and it leaves me speechless that their name is not know more across the indie scene of Mexico and Latin America. They are passionate about the verses they sing about and the melodies they create and I am a big fan of that small dash of punk that is part of the flavor of the current indie rock sounds of Mexico. Enjoy the track and if you don’t understand the language simply let the rhythm of the soundscape take over your senses for music is a universal language.
