“…Not Just a band but a family …”

I know I have written about The Hunna before, but there is a reason why … this band is doing things right …how? …working hard, writing songs, doing music, and making the fans be part of their family (specially that last part). All of this paying it’s dividends and they are getting the recognition they deserve, they recently signed with one of the leading indie labels in the US: 300 Entertainment ((Fetty Wap/Highly Suspect/Young Thug/Coheed & Cambria, etc) and not only are they touring the UK but next month they will be touring the U.S. as well (If you are in one of the cities they will be playing in, I highly recommend you buy a ticket)

It’s strange yet really great that the band is still only 7 months old (yeah you read it right) because it shows people that if you focus on doing some really great singles that you as a writer can connect with others will follow and connect with what you are doing and it might even reach some big names (BBC R1’s Annie Mac and Huw Stephens and Apple Music’s Zane Lowe for example). The Hunna has enough music and talent to give the world one of the best debut albums of decade, which actually will be released this August.

“The Hunna not only know how to roll out arena-ready, feel-good jams, but they also exude an endearing air of confidence”
– Consequence Of Sound

“You and Me (Hunna Tree)”

Welcome to the H-Squad – a back-story for the song

Get ready to be part of something great …

A song for the fans from the band they love and admire, this is something that I am not sure I have seen before, the band writing a song thanking their fans who are part of their amazing journey, they are actually the most important part of the ride for the guys and it shows not just in the song but in many posts in their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. That is just wonderful to see.

Working with esteemed producers Tim Larcombe (Halsey, Lana Del Rey) and Duncan Mills, the band have delivered an anthemic call to arms for The H-Squad and a middle finger to those who just don’t want to enlist.“It’s about us as a band – taking the negative things that people have said and sort of turning it around,“ muses Ryan. “It’s about the fans as well, it’s for the Hunna familythe people who have been there from the very beginning.
