Soft, melodic, heartfelt and it just touches you in a human level – that’s what Suburban Myth does with “Wilderness”. It’s an amazing song and I am glad they decided to go with a simpler music video that allows the music and the camera work to develop the feeling of the song. The song talks about a topic we have all experienced (I think): to love and lose, to hold and to let go, the pain of promises that will not be true. Derek Daisey’s voice has a gift to deliver feelings, to make you live the song and to feel each lyric as if you had felt that pain.
